Work with mr noe

Art Director & Designer

Let us create something great!

Your project will succeed because I take the time to learn your brand, understand your requirements so you can speak directly to your target audience.
I can help you with all phases from idea to planing and designing, project management and front-end development. When your project is finished I will help you in the right direction and only be an email away.

You have an idea or a project, and you will soon find out there is tons of things to be aware of when building websites, web-shops or web apps! Making your idea into a realistic project with a budget and deadline can be difficult when having to deal with more tricky aspects like design and technical choices.

Dear friend, the decisions you make will decide how successful your project will be, how long time it will take, how much money it will cost. You are the boss of your idea and believe me, you will need someone to assist you who has done this many times before and who understands your needs and can explain it to you in plain English (or German or Danish for that matter). That guy is me!

Let’s get to know each other, my name is Martin a.k.a mr noe. I don’t spend my day on social media or playing computer games, I don’t event tweet! I love to travel, I love to play music, I love to meet new people and I love to create something different. It is amazing what you can do with the web and I love to constantly improve and extend my knowledge.

Skip life story, let’s work!

When I was a child, I build a computer with my uncle at age 11 and wrote my first HTML at the age of 15. I was one of those annoying students in school not paying attention because I was sketching in my schoolbooks, and I demand explanations for tedious tasks. I am patient but I hate wasting time. Let us just say that I am not fit for an average 9-5 desk job.

My personality has resulted in several creative endeavors and adventures: I am an educated jazz musician, I have travelled to over 30 countries and I now work remotely as an Art Director and Designer.

The last five years, I have worked with Graphic Design, Front-End Development, starting and running my own business, starting my own web-shop, working for a newspaper in Denmark, working two years part-time in a German e-commerce software development company as a Senior Web Designer until I finally went back to full-time freelancing in 2013.

Today I am mainly designing user interfaces for Dutch companies and using my e-commerce experience to start a web-shop in Denmark. Tell me about yourself and what you are up to at the moment.

The next five years, I will make a bunch of awesome work and help dozens of people turn their ideas and dreams into reality. I will move to Athens, learn greek, and hopefully create some jobs for unemployed talent.

Enough about me, if you have an idea for a project and you don’t know what to do next, get in contact and I will write you a friendly email helping you on what to do next. It is free and the worst thing that can happen is that I will write you something you already know.

You need a flexible remote freelancer on your team and I am definitely your guy. I love to work on different projects and take responsibility for the development of designs for your website, e-commerce web-shop or user interface designs for your app. I have been working remotely the last five years with people from around the world. Working with a remote freelancer enables you to keep costs low and focus on what you do best and I will not be in your way, only by your side, online.

FAQ – What do you want to know?

How can I work with you?

Working remote is awesome! Remote working means that we both need a computer connected to the internet. We will use Google Hangout or Skype to talk and have meetings. A worker that sleeps well and eats a healthy breakfast like me, thinks sharp and works fast. Remote working is the future.

What do you charge for your work?

You can hire me by the hour or on a project basis. Depending on what task I perform, I charge appropriately. Get in contact and we can discuss what fits the best for you.

What costs will I have?

I am working remotely around Europe and pay my own health insurance and pension, so it is very simple to work with me. You only pay for my time and whatever costs you might have nonetheless like: domain-costs, hosting-costs, printing costs etc.

Remote working? I want to work with you in person!

No, problem! Besides Skype and Google Hangouts, which are great for interacting and discussing projects face to face, I also travel to my clients for onsite work sessions. I have worked in Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands and even Costa Rica. The only thing I cannot offer you is a full-time contract.

What if I am not satisfied with the work you do?

I work fast and I can create designs in a few hours and develop them as well in a short time. Even if you should decide not to continue working with me after one day, you will already have a lot of work done in that time to hand over to someone else. That being said, I am sure that you will be satisfied with my work. Your satisfaction is critical to me and previous clients are my personal promoters; most of my projects come from mouth-to-mouth recommendations.

I already have a programmer, can you work together with him/her on the project?

If you have your own programmer, developer or designer, I can work with them if they speak either English, German, Danish, Swedish (southern dialect only) or Norwegian (southern dialect only). I am friendly and not one of those proud difficult designer types. I love to design, and proud to program as well! Besides from a childhood fear of the backend, I am a nerd on the front-end.

I have another question for you!

Great, simply write me and ask away.
